(Prerequisite (FUJI); Intro to Medical Imaging 101)

This course provides an overview of the Fuji FCR Carbon. Topics include: Machine Description, Software Control, Installation, Flash IIP Console Configuration, Image Plate Handling, Patient Registration, Image Data Flow, Client-PC Software, Hands-On Subassembly Removal & Reinstallation, Parts Replacement, Calibration, Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance. (Prerequisites: Medical Imaging 101, DryPix 5000/7000, ClearView CSm Reader Unit, and Flash IIP Workstation)

This course is intended to train attendees the Theory of Operation, Installation, Programming, Adjustments, Alignments, Calibration, and Troubleshooting procedures required for supporting the Mammography Systems.

Equipment and practices covered include the ClearView CSm Reader Unit, The Mammo-Viewer mammography QA Console, the DryPix 7000 / FMDPL and related mammography upgrade kits, and Mammography X-Ray machine and MQSA compliance testing. (Classroom Lecture/PowerPoint and Lab, Written Test)

This course introduces Fuji's newest addition to the DryPix family and provides an overview of the DryPix 2000. Topics include Equipment Installation, Film Handing and Transport, Equipment Service, Preventative Maintenance, Equipment Operation and Network Printing. This course introduces Fuji's newest additions to the DryPix family. In this course we will explore the following topics of Fuji's fastest dry laser imagers: Equipment Installation, Film Handing and Transport, Equipment Service, Preventative Maintenance, Equipment Operation, Film Sorting and Network Printing. (Prerequisites (FUJI); Intermediate X-ray, Carbon & FlashIIP)

The FCR Go class is designed to provide a system level approach to Mobile X-Ray. Beginning with a overview of the system architecture and trains the engineer to installation and setup of a mobile X-Ray System. Laboratory work entails complete system adjustments, alignments, and calibration of a Mono X-ray Tube ( KV and MAS ). Fault isolation to the Field Replaceable Unit along with battery removal and preventive maintenance procedures are also covered. Interface to the hospital network is covered through service documentation. (Classroom Lecture/PowerPoint and Lab, Written Test)

This course is designed to provide the student working knowledge surrounding theory of operation, installation, configuration, adjustments, alignments, calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of the FDR Velocity product line. (Classroom Lecture/PowerPoint and Lab, Written Test)

(Intro to CR/X-Ray/Imaging)

The intent of this course is to provide students with an introduction to the various facets of medical imaging technology. Topics include: The history and theory behind computed radiography and basic X-Ray fundamentals. This course is considered introductory and is a prerequisite for all CR, X-Ray and Print equipment courses. (Classroom Lecture/PowerPoint, Written Test)

This course is designed to provide the student working knowledge surrounding installation, configuration, calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance of the FDR Velocity Speed Suite and the various peripheral components associated with it. (Classroom Lecture/PowerPoint and Lab, Written Test)

(Prerequisites; Intermediate X-ray & Velocity)

The purpose of this course is to provide working knowledge geared toward Installation, Configuration, Calibration, Troubleshooting and Maintenance of the Unity and the various generators associated with it. The course curriculum will also provide details for setup of X-Ray Control (XCON/SpeedLink) as it relates to the Unity device, Sedecal HF series generators and the CR Console.
