FUJIFILM has been there from the beginning. In 1983, we launched the first-ever digital mammography system in the world. We have been dedicated to the early detection of breast cancer ever since, with new FCR for mammography in 2006, an upcoming “next generation” direct-to-digital detector, and then, an advanced 3D application for mammography.
Aspire ClearView (PROFECT outside the US) is the world's most popular Full Field Digital Mammography (FFDM) system. We currently have over 7,000 users that have purchased it to convert to FFDM.
What differentiates Aspire ClearView from other FFDM?
With a system offering that is reliable, flexible and scalable, Fujifilm provides a digital mammography solution for any provider regardless of number of sites, size or exams per year; with the added value of being able to perform both mammography and general radiology with one FFDM system.
Fujifilm is building upon our legacy, and through innovation plan to introduce next generation DR FFDM detector technology.
Aspire HD* (AMULET outside the US) is the next-generation digital mammography system. By introducing an innovative direct-to-digital detector design which employs two layers, acquisition and switching, of amorphous selenium Fujifilm uses Direct Optical Switching in favor of Thin Film Transistors (TFT) enabling the use of 50 micron pixels. The introduction of this innovative direct capture technology reinforces our commitment to provide the fine detail necessary in mammography imaging, by reducing image noise at a modest dose.
With our innovative patented detector technology, we are poised for the evolution of 3Dimensional Imaging with the highest spatial resolution in the industry, and the lowest possible dose available.
FUJIFILM will be there for generations to come. We continue to reinforce our dedication to women’s health with product choices for both replacement and conversion of existing equipment while continuing to deliver our legacy image quality and reliability.
As the pioneer in digital mammography we are building upon our legacy, and through innovation plan to introduce next generation FFDM detector technology with 50 µm pixels, dual layers of a-Se featuring DOS. Offering outstanding performance, it will also serve as our platform for future advanced 3D applications.
