Fuji's ES system offers valuable insight when soft tissue can be compromised by overlying bone, or when bone detail needs to be more accurately portrayed as in thoracic imaging.
FujiFilm's ClearView -ES is the superior choice for Digital Chest Imaging and diagnosis. It is also the only system that uses just one exposure for Energy Subtraction. With one exposure patient dose is decreased, as well as the possibility of artifacts and inconsistencies which can be caused by cardiac or patient movement.
Automatically generates a soft tissue image with the bone removed, and a bone part image with the soft tissue removed, in a single exposure. As a result, the recognition of abnormal body parts is readily achieved.
In soft tissue images, the E-SUB process enhances the depiction of tubercle shades in the upper lung field where their visualization may be hindered by overlying ribs and collarbones. In bone part images, this process enhances the depiction of calcifications.
