PREMIER AND FUJI CONTRACT FOR FILM AND IMAGERS THROUGH AUGUST 31, 2008

STAMFORD, CT. - January 4, 2006 - FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA is pleased to announce that the group purchasing division of Premier, Inc., Premier Purchasing Partners, L.P., has extended the company's existing film and imager contracts through August 31, 2008. This enables Premier's nearly 1,500 member hospitals to continue to benefit from Fuji's full line of medical film and imagers, including conventional wet film, mammography film, dry film, dry thermal imagers and dry laser imagers.

"Fuji continues to demonstrate its commitment to delivering high quality imaging products for our membership," said Karen Phillips, director, Premier Purchasing Partners. "They are a valued partner providing quality, innovative and affordable products, and we look forward to continuing this relationship well into the future."

Fuji's entire line of film and all DryPix™ imagers are named in the contracts, including the new DryPix 2000, the first of Fuji's dry thermal tabletop imagers to offer the advantage of dual film-size printing capability, and Fuji's DI-HT dry laser film with improved transparency and high contrast for enhanced image quality. Both the DryPix 2000 and DI-HT film were recently introduced at RSNA and are expected to be available mid-2006.

The contracts are two of several in place between Premier and Fuji.

"Premier's extension of Fuji's contracts further validates our position as a leader in the medical image and information industry," said Phil Buffington, executive director, National Accounts, at Fuji. "As Premier members continue their transition from film-based to completely digitally driven radiology departments, they will benefit from the continued availability of Fuji's entire line of products via our film, imager, computed radiography and PACS contracts."
